Pilates
The Pilates exercise method was originally called, “Contrology.” Developed by Joseph Pilates, Pilates is a series of floor exercises meticulously executed to increase strength, flexibility, stamina and concentration. This physical training regimen will streamline your body in its most natural state – movement. The mat series of exercises work the body from head to toe with careful attention to the center also known as, “the core.” The “core” is defined as the wide band of midsection from your navel around to your lower back, extending from your lower ribs to just below your buttocks. It is a technique so precise and so concentrated that the results will remain with you forever.
